Tip alert: As coconut flour is extremely absorbent, very little amount is needed when cooking with it. In baked goods, you generally want to substitute 1/4 (35 g) or 1/3 cup (45 g) of coconut flour for 1 cup (120 g) grain-based flour. In addition, for 1 cup of coconut flour, you will need to add six beaten eggs (or flax/chia “eggs” for a vegan version) plus approximately 1 cup of liquid such as coconut milk.
